STREET SIGN
REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT
Undoubtedly,
you’ve noticed that our street signs are deteriorating. Some have broken support arms, many are
twisted, all are corroded. These were
custom, shop-built productions that have exceeded their useful life. To custom fabricate some 30 of these
structures would be cost-prohibitive. We
recently removed one of these structures to acquire measurements of collars and
arms with hopes of finding a source to provide attractive “off the shelf”
hardware as a replacement. That search
continues. We hope to have a solution by
the end of February.
IRON FENCE
EXTENSION AND REPLACEMENT
With the objective of increasing protection on the entrance, extending the
fence across and behind the upper fountain, and replacing old, frail fences
across the neighborhood, the Board is evaluating fence materials, sizing,
coatings, and design options to ensure durability and long-term effectiveness.
Once specifications are finalized, bids will be solicited from multiple
reputable vendors. The project is expected to be completed in phases over
approximately 45–60 days, with bid requests planned for late March. Funding for
this work will come from the Association’s Reserve Fund, designated for capital
asset replacements.
SECURITY CAMERA
INSTALLATION
The Board is also planning to install security cameras at key locations
throughout the neighborhood, prioritizing the entry gate and also adding to the
clubhouse/pool area.
A Treeline resident with professional security expertise has volunteered to assist with guidance and recommendations. Based on current input and site reviews, the Board expects to receive initial recommendations by the end of February.
